Everyone wants a great looking stomach but not everyone understands the truth about abs.  Abdominals are the muscles of your stomach and they are there with definition you just have fat over them.

So how important are stomach workouts to get a 6 pack?

Your stomach can build muscle which will make the 6 pack more visible.  Although your diet will affect the looks of your six pack more than doing only stomach exercises.

Stomach workouts will help burn the fat on top of the stomach though.  So it is smart to be doing stomach exercises while you are working on your food intake at the same time.  That way you are taking on the belly fat issue from 2 different areas.  Why would you only do 1 thing to get rid of fat when you could be doing 2?  So remember that abs need to be trained while you are focusing your eating habits to lose that extra belly fat. 

How can I change my eating habits so that I can lose weight?

If you live in America chances are that you are overweight and chances are that you eat too much fat every single day of your life.  So, in order to lose fat you need to start cutting down the foods that have a lot of fat and provide nothing else.  Chips and popcorn are 2 foods that do you no good.  They have a lot of fat and don’t have much of anything else like nutrients or protein.  You should avoid empty fat snacks at all costs!
