If I tell you that getting a set of six pack abs is all about focusing on these 3 things, including having consistency and discipline, would you believe me? All you need is just the right plan for you to execute and you are on your way.
We have been convinced by advertisers that trying to achieve a set of six pack abs is one of the most difficult things to do in this world. And then they will throw us their latest supplements, and play upon our laziness that all we have to do is just eat the supplement and thats it. No exercises necessary. But how can this be true. Even if you can lose weight, you are not giving your body the balanced nutrition it needs. And without exercising, how can you increase your metabolism to be higher.
So what you need is to plan, execute and be consistent in your diet and exercise plan. You should have, in your mind, a vision of your end result. But you may be asking, what exactly should I do to get the results I want? Read below for my suggestions:
1 – You should place focus on your diet
Yes, I presume you hate this word “diet”. You may think that exercising alone is enough but sadly, it is not. You can train all you want but as long as the fats around your stomach are there, your muscles will never be revealed to the world to see. With the right balance of diet and exercises, your layer of belly fats will be gone.
To start off, try to increase your protein intake, and control the amount of food you eat as well. Consume more fruits and veggies for energy. Always remember the term “calorie deficit”. This means that you should be burning off more calorie than the food you are eating.
2. Start your exercise plan
Consistency is the name of the game. You want to achieve toned abs, then you need to exercise regularly. And the exercises that you choose, remember to alternate different types of exercise into your schedule. Reason is because your abdominal muscles tend to adapt to the exercises very quickly and once the muscles adapt, you will stop seeing results. The idea is to keep changing the exercises so that the muscles can never really adapt and continue to feel the strain of the exercise. This is the truth about six pack abs (use this as keyword). So remember, don’t do the same boring workout every day. Keep your muscles guessing what’s to come.
3. Cardio (usually means jogging, skipping, swimming)
I just want to clarify that I do not mean running your life away like a hamster. What you need is to adopt a high quality cardio session. Example can be sprinting or skipping. You are not supposed to be running at a constant pace. Your cardio workout should consist of fast and slow momentum that can pump your heart and body to really feel the pressure. You can play a game of tennis, which requires you to sprint to chase a ball but you can slow down as well. Such cardio sessions will be better than those guys jogging in the gym at a constant pace. Jogging everyday at a constant pace does help but it will take a very long time to achieve results.
If you intend to use the trend mill, try the following methods. Start running at a constant pace for 1 minute, and then increase to a fast speed and run for 30 seconds or 1 minute and then slow down to the original pace. Alternate the speed for around 10 to 20 minutes and it will definitely be better than you running at a constant speed for an hour.
Take a look at the mirror today and see yourself with a flat, muscular stomach and then start exercising today to achieve them.
