OK, today I’m going to show you some of the best exercises for six pack abs… It may surprise you to know that a lot of these work outs aren’t considered “Ab exercises” but that really doesn’t matter because most traditional ab exercises like sit-ups do nothing anyway.

If you want to lose stomach fat and have a toned looking six pack then sit-ups aren’t going to help you because they do not burn enough calories to get rid of the stomach fat that’s covering your abs up.

The best types of exercises for six pack abs are actually full body and multi-joint workouts. These types of exercises generate the best metabolic response and burn the most fat.

Wind sprints and running hills – Running and sprinting are great exercises that really get the blood flowing. Running stairs is also good as well…

Don’t be fooled into thinking that running on a treadmill is the same as running on a track or on a path, it’s not! For one you’re not running the same way you would outside and secondly its mindless like a hamster on a wheel and your brain can just detach from the exercise…

Being aware and having your brain working during your workouts is also a very important part of exercise.

Lunge jumps, squats, and push ups are also good exercises that work multiple parts of your body… It doesn’t seem like these exercises have anything to do with six pack abs but the majority of people don’t need stronger ab muscles, they just need to lose the fat that’s in front of their abs… Once they get their body fat down they can see their abs.
